SPINDLE DRINK MIXER

PURPOSE OF THE TRAINING EXERCISE: To ensure the team members are aware of the safe use of the Spindle Drink Mixer.

TRAINING AIDS:  Spindle Drink Mixer  Company approved manual pot wash detergent and sanitiser

 Yellow Disposable cloth  Disposable Paper Towel

TRAINING METHOD: This is a practical training exercise. The trainer should demonstrate how to use the Spindle Drink Mixer to the group whilst referring to these training notes

ASK QUESTION TO GROUP: Why do we need to clean the Mixer and containers after every use? CONFIRM CORRECT ANSWER:  Reduce the risk of bacteria harbourage  To avoid risk of foreign body contamination  To avoid any allergies through cross contamination

How to use the Spindle Drink Mixer safely:

1. Control Switch 0 = off = low = high 2. Container support 3. Container Rest 4. Containers 5. Maximum fill level 6. Minimum fill level 7. Mixing Spindle

 Ensure the mixer and container are clean to avoid contamination  Set the control to off  Place ingredients in container

 Place container onto drink mixer making certain that the containers top edge is behind the container support and the container bottom is on the container rest
