HEALTH & SAFETY Travel Cots Some of our guests will be children will require a cot. As and when a guest has requested the use of a cot prior to their arrival, it is our job to ensure this is set up and ready for them on arrival.

Travel Cots

Each time a cot is set up, we must:

• Make sure the cot is clean • Make sure the cot is safe • Check to make sure that the cot is put up correctly and stable • Fill in the Cot Check document • Make to IKL Standards (Fitted sheet on mattress with the flat sheet and the blanket neatly placed over the end of the cot).

All cot Bedding (Fitted sheet, flat sheet & blanket) needs to be stored in a covered container to ensure it remains clean in between uses.

All cot bedding is laundered in house. We need to ensure this is not sent off with the laundry as we will not get it back.
