Check in a Guest where a Third Party is paying for the Stay
4.6 Check In
If a Third Party is paying for the stay, they need to complete and send back a Third Party Authorisation form. If this has been received in CRO, then there will be an At- tachment lamp on the reservation

Print the Attachment form Select Check In Guest
[OK] on the Payment Method Screen
[POST] the payment in Opera after processing the payment through your Zonal till

[CLOSE] the billing window
If there is no authorisation form, do NOT charge the card in the reservation unless the cardholder is present. The guest will have to pay for their own stay, or obtain the authorisation form from the cardholder.

Check In a Guest who is part of a Group Booking

Note the payment instructions on the booking in advance. CRO should have issued you with an email detailing arrival and special instructions. Note these and action accordingly

Post Master Reservations (Groups)
•
PM reservations can be checked in exactly the same way as individual reservations. Usually CRO action these, however if there is a PM arrival, then check it in as normal
